Today at Seaside, we celebrated Read Across America day along with Dr. Seuss' birthday! The children were greeted with Truffula trees by The Lorax (aka Miss Anderson) and invited to taste green eggs and ham at the Seuss Café. The children made pockets and of course wockets and their very own Lorax. We also got a visit from The Cat in the Hat (Ms. Sanders) and she read her very own book. Horton also visited and the children learned what it means to mean what you say and say what you mean
